Birdz Feather 2 RX-able Sunglasses
These Birdz Feather 2 RX-able sunglasses have super sleek one-piece frames with good peripheral protection and 3 sets of interchangeable lenses - smoke, yellow and clear, making them ideal for runners and cyclists. They offer shatterproof, polycarbonate, UV400 protection and have a comfortable rubber nosepiece. These sunglasses are extremely light and comfortable and have an RX option for prescription eyewear (see separate product BE0006). They come complete with a zip-up belt case for carrying all those extra lenses, making them great value for money as well.Frame: polycarbonate one-piece shield; rubber nosepiece Lens: polycarbonate; 3 sets of interchangeable lenses - smoke, yellow and clear; 100% UV400 protection Accessories: zip-up belt case Labelling: Birdz Eyewear product tag Changing the Lenses: Slide the nosepiece off the lenses first. Then, take one end of the lens in your right hand and the frame in your left hand. Holding the frame vertically, firmly tug the lens down while pushing the frame up. You will have to bend the frame and lens slightly to get the lens out. Pop out the middle portion and then do the same with the other side lens. To replace the lenses: Put each side of the lens in first, then lastly snap in the middle portion - you may have to slightly bow/bend the lens again. Finally, replace the nosepiece on the glasses.
There is an optional Rx insert for the Feather 2, and is just great news if you wear spectacles! You can take the insert straight to your optician and get it fitted to your prescription. This metal insert pops right in behind the polycarbonate lens so you can use all three sets of coloured lenses with your prescription insert.
